Mechanical design for steel plant and material handling equipment —
clear and accurate, in 3D CAD.
Eiko Engineering is a design office specializing in equipment for steelworks: conveyors and material handling systems, piping and ductwork, inspection platforms and support structures. An engineer with hands-on plant experience handles everything from concept to 3D models, fabrication drawings and calculation reports.
SERVICE
Services
New installations, renewals and modifications — from a single drawing to a complete design package.
Steel Plant Machinery Design
Plant machinery, transfer cars, lever and cylinder-driven mechanisms within steelworks, plus renewal and modification design of existing equipment.
Conveyors & Material Handling
Belt conveyors, roller conveyors, coil transfer cars and more — including selection calculations for shafts, bearings and drives.
Piping & Duct Design
Pipe routing, pipe support brackets, round and rectangular duct routing and fabrication drawings. Flanges and fittings to standard.
Platforms, Frames & Walkways
Support frames, inspection platforms, stairs and handrails using H-beams, channels and other sections. Splice design and steel weight take-offs included.
3D Modeling & 2D Drafting
3D models, assembly drawings and interference checks in Autodesk Inventor. Fabrication and part drawings, and tracing of existing drawings, in AutoCAD.
Design Calculation Reports
Strength calculations, shaft and bolt sizing, bearing life, cylinder and motor loads — with explanatory diagrams so anyone can follow them.
AI-Assisted Inventor iLogic Development
Custom iLogic rules for Autodesk Inventor, developed with AI assistance to automate your specific design tasks (built to order).
STRENGTH
Why Eiko Engineering
Drawings that work on site — delivered fast, accurate and easy to understand.
Design Backed by Steel Plant Experience
Years of designing equipment inside steelworks means designs that account for installation, maintenance and inspection from the start.
Design You Can See in 3D
Interferences and interfaces are checked in advance in Inventor 3D models, making the final result easy to visualize in meetings and reducing rework. 2D-only requests are also welcome.
Automation & Standardization for Speed and Accuracy
In-house iLogic and AutoLISP tools automate pipe and duct routing, bolt placement, tolerance and surface-finish annotation, steel take-offs and more — shortening lead times without compromising quality.
Calculation Reports Anyone Can Read
Each report shows a diagram making clear which dimension is which, followed by the formulas. Ready for internal review or client presentation as-is.
ENVIRONMENT
Software & Deliverables
Deliverables follow your drafting standards (layers, title blocks, material notation, etc.).
